A1 of the National Post

• The National Post is one of those newspapers where they are technically a broadsheet style publication, but have shaved off the extra inches horizontally to be economical. So although they are not as large a broadsheet at the NYT, they are still technically a broadsheet style publication.

• For most of the covers, The National Post sticks to a six column grid where stories run on five, and the nameplate runs down the left rail. They are some variations, like the first example where the entire grid is thrown out, but for the most part the stick to a very defined grid system.
